A relaxing weekend

This weekend was so nice. I didn't have anything planned, which hasn't happened in a very, very long time. It was so great to not have to do anything but a minimal amount of homework and a maximum amount of chilling out.

Right after my last blog post on Friday, and watching the Prisoner of Azkaban, my friend and I tried out burger place near us that I had never been to. It was delicious, and I was especially excited because they had black cherry floats. Needless to say I got one.

On Saturday, I chose a bit of a healthier route and exercised right when I got out of bed. I used my two favorite apps, Yoga Studio and 5-7-9 Fit. I ate some oatmeal for breakfast, and I don't even have an outfit to show you from that day because I lounged in my pajamas for the rest of it.

And now today, I am at my grandma's house for lunch. She's cooking a turkey, because my family has about 4 "Thanksgiving" dinners from October-April. I'm wearing the coziest outfit and I had to share it.

March 1, 2015

I didn’t go on much of an ‘adventure’ today, but I did do a couple of things that I thought were worth noting. To start off the day, I had this wicked good breakfast. What you see here is an almond croissant, strawberry tart, and cafe au lait.

As I was eating this yummy meal I was talking to my mom about how much it reminded me of the delicious breakfasts I had throughout my trip to Italy last April. Wherever we stayed, they always served us croissants and our choice of coffee drink. I always went for a cappuccino. This breakfast inspired me to rummage through my photos from the trip, and I decided to edit this picture I took on a gondola ride of the Rialto bridge in Venice. Of course it didn’t need much editing though, because Italy was so vibrant and beautiful.

Today was a good escape from this relentless winter weather that seems to not want to make room for spring.
